Kyle Devine is an award-winning author and editor.
He is internationally recognized for his work on the environmental situation of music, featuring regularly in the media and serving in a number of advisory roles.
For example, he is the lead expert in greening music at EarthPercent, a climate charity cofounded by Brian Eno, and he is on the advisory board of Evolution Music, a company making records out of bioplastic. He is also a member of Unruliness, an international research project about rethinking uncertainty in environmental change.
Kyle works at the University of Winnipeg, currently as dean of graduate studies, with an underlying appointment as professor in environmental studies.
Before that, he worked for ten years at the University of Oslo, where he was professor in music and environmental humanities. He has also held fellowships at McGill University and the University of Melbourne.
And before that, he taught at the City University of London and Worcester College, University of Oxford.
